As part of ART STAGE 2014, Revisit Colonial Narratives features the works of Adytama Pranada Charda, Dow Wasiksiri and Zhao Renhui. Based on historical photographic material that reflects the political, economic and social conditions of colonial relations in former Dutch colonies, the artists responded to archival material to examine the ways in which their national, transnational and personal histories and memories have been informed and shaped by the colonial past.
